or early 1980s. I think it was a chain. The costumes did not conform to any particular theme. The food was American type. There used to be on located in the Marina Pacifica area on PCH. There may have been one in LA or HOllywood also.

I think you are thinking of Ed Debevic's. Sort of a diner theme, lots of the waiter's would jokingly insult you. Costumes from cheerleader to biker to all sorts of things.

It was a national chain, and there were some in West Hollywood and around. I think the whole chain has closed down.

I t was a chain there was one in Phoenix and Alb. NM . Was it Freddy Fudpuckers or Pufferbellys I think . I was served by Flo the gum chewing waitress from Alice a tv comedy, Liberace and Robin Hood ,once my seat was a toilet they also broke out in loud and crazy songs. my town needs one of them
