"A Cry In The Night" by Mary Higgins Clark is an excellent novel! It is very gripping, extremely unique, and you cannot put it down. Mary Higgins Clark is a wonderful mystery novelist and I would recommend any of her books, but this just happens to be my personal favorite. It is a complex story, but once you read it, you won't regret it.

James Patterson's Alex Cross Series. All of them are awesome. Two of the novels are movies...Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. If you thought the movies were good wait until you read the books!!

I would highly recommend Agatha Christie's (nice mystery name huh?) And Then There Were None (formerly known as The Ten Little Indians).

Dean Koontz's "Sole Survivor" is pretty good...but if you want something a bit different try L. Ron Hubbard's "Fear"...it is an oldie but goodie and not that old, it is a quick read, but that is good because you just can't put it down...and no...you won't catch Scientology from it.
