good one...well there can certainly be no greed or craving of power...it would have to be a new party...the party of "The 4 noble Truths" or the "Eight Fold Path to Enlightenment"

The Primaries would be pretty wild,,,all that silent nodding and chanting. the candidates would be led in by long lines of bald monks...The speeches would be short and full of gentle persuasion to be a good person and stay on the path...

But when they came to your door with pamphlets, you might think they were Moonies.

Honestly, probably Libertarian

wow now there is a question.The governing in tibet before the Chinese took over is the closest that I can think of.The dalai llama is the leader in exile but he is also amonk and spiritual leader
