You might be interested to know that that ALSO applies to Dems as well. I would be considered a Rep but I cannot Support GWB's policy on Immigration. Even his fence is 1,300 Miles to Short. Everyones saying All were gonna have a Border fence YEAH. Well we might get a fence but at 700 Miles long it only leaves another 1,300 Miles in which the Illegals can cross. He also sent our National guard to the Border Un-Armed. The Border patrol actually had to provide protection for our Guards. So I do Not Blindly support GWB. But I'm sure there are REPS that do but again I'll tell you there are DEMS exactly the same way. They care more for there Political party than they do the USA. Thats Truly sad.

President Bush has been a good president. He has had to made tough decisions on foreign policy but he has made the correct ones. He is aggressive in fighting terrorism. He has cut taxes. He makes a strong stance in favor of traditional values. Of course he has been far from a perfect president, I disagree with him about the growth of the federal government, immigration, spending, No Child Left Behind (education should be the responsibility of the states). The democrats are not a good alternative the the republicans. The Republicans are going to lose congress not because they are too conservative but because they are too liberal on spending and immigration.

I cannot speak for them, but it does not have to do with wether he was a good president. It has to do with keeping the integrity of the party he represented intact. If Bush was a Democratic president, then Republicans would be acting the same as the Democrats are now, maybe worse. It is not about the president, but about what party he is representing.

I, as a Repubican, will stay loyal to my president (as long as its not a clinton) Bush has been a wonderful president. It is only the fact that Hollywood and major newspapers are held by democrats that it seems like everyone hates Bush. The label conservative is important to me though. But it isn't what I base my vote on. Think of what he's done! Mexican border is needed, he did it. Trouble in the Middle East, its over. We have Osama hiding in a cave! The democrats are running out of things to make fun of so they are making fun of the way he talks. Thats pathetic.

No president is perfect, they ALL make mistakes and put their foot in it. However, sometimes you have to just make a decision instead of DISCUSSING it to death.
Sure Bush has made mistakes, and I seriously doubt that he was chosen for religious reasons.
I really don't care for Bush personally, but I respect and support him as OUR President. And just the situation with all of the criticism of him, name-calling, and attacks on the solidarity of America as a whole make me support him more.
Disagree with him all you want. But THINK about how all of this division between us looks and sounds to the rest of the world. They WANT us to crumble, don't Dems/Libs realize that? They(terrorists/fanatics) watch CNN,ABC,NBC, and the Internet and they get all of this:Bush is Hitler/Bush is a Fascist/Bush is a murderer, etc. Don't you think this encourages the fanatics?
Besides, who was I supposed to vote for, Kerry? The man can't even make up his mind what to eat for breakfast without changing it 20 times. That is NOT an insult, just the truth. I watched him on tv, and during debates, and I could not figure out WHAT he stood for, and I don't think he did either.
I might have considered him if he had been a little clearer.

Bush is a great President, even in the face of constant attacks from the left and the media, he has done what is necessary to protect the American people, instead of doing what would be
the popular choice. With all the venom from the Democrats,
and their constant drumbeat of hatred, I now vote Straight
Republican, and will continue to do so. Hope this answers your
question.

I am a disgruntled republican and I don't have a problem voting for democrats if I think they are a good candidate. The problem I face in the presidential election is the democratic candidates that I like (and like better than the republican candidate) never get the nomination. Its usually a case of voting for the lesser of two evils.

The undying loyalty to the bush Reich is indicative of the weak constitution (personal, not the document) of the weak and infirm of the mind. Sadly America has become a nation of sheep led by a decadent bunch of pedophiles and beastialitist. No one in their right mind could feel good about the total incompetance, flagrant thievery and disregard for the law exhibited by the bush Reich. gw will go down in history as the president that took America to the brink of fascism and repuglicons will be studied for psychological shortcomings.

I don't know if Republicans would support Eisenhower or even Goldwater today. By the litmus of this current Administration, they'd be too liberal. Certainly Lincoln would too. How could the party of lincoln become the party of torturers ? America is in serious trouble thanks to certain " Republicans "
