I don't shop at Wal-Mart anymore. Not to mention that they engage in legalized corporate crime, they just sell junk anyway...Wal-Mart is what middle and lower class Americans think is a solution, but in fact, it's the problem.

Because the main stream public don't care about how wal-mart employees are treated. They care about the latest sale and that is it.
And Wal-Mart employees have no back bone and will not stand for their rights because they will just be replaced. This is why they have no union.
But did you know?? Wal-Mart has a union in Japan.

I don't think most people like Walmart or their practices. But what everyone thinks is "what differnce will it make if I don't shop there." Walmart has cheap prices and in many places it is pretty much the only outlet for some stuff (although usually shoddy stuff imported from Communist China).
If people would wake up, get organized, they could make a difference--but except in the exceptional case they never do. And people like Walmart know it.

By all means, if you want to pay more for no reason other than to pay more.... shop somewhere else.
They are already beneficial to the economy... tradewise especially. They sell a lot of imported stuff(hence the lower prices) and employ a ton of people(agree with it or not, if those people are treated that badly, they should get a different job).
BTW, once they up their labor and benefits, they will up their prices.
I'll stick with WalMart

People in America a really very self centered.
All they care about are cheap prices.
They won't even take into consideration how the employees are treated.
Look at how many of them still frequest Taco Bell, even though Taco Bell buys lettuce from companies that use slave labor, and how many of them still buy clothes from Sears even though they know darn well that Sears buys clothes from companies that use sweat shop labor.
Yes... Very selfish.

That corparation helps to cripple u . s . a . of america. the authorities has informed them they ought to initiate providing extra constructive coverage to extra workers, because it replaced into discovered that Walmart workers are a measurable burden on authorities help. also, once you've been taking recognize the presidential campaigns you're literally conscious that Walmart replaced into the heavy hitter in getting the bill squashed that can make inspections on imported boxes needed. properly..a year later we've tens of millions of poisoned and contaminated toys all for the period of u . s . a . of america. thanks to flow Wal-Mart the authorities might want to close them down

Are you telling me these people couldn't get a job elsewhere? They stayed and worked under these conditions.Wal-mart is huge and has great prices. That is why people shop there. As for why people would continue to work under these conditions,I have no answer for that. They have nobody but themselves to blame. Most people in that situation would just get another job. They chose to stay, some of them for years....The strong prey on the weak, that is just the way life is.Get over it,and quit whining!

They also buy most of their products from China. Now if we were trading equally with China I would not mind but alas they are sending 5 ships ladened with cheap goods for even one we send with our products. How long will that last? Only until China owns this country and we all have to learn Mandrin, which is the most spoken language on earth... does that tell you anything? There are so many metal shipping containers from Chinese imports into this country that are stored outside of Los Angeles that they had to be limited as to their height because they were becoming visible from the city. They will never be used again, because we will never ever ship that much back to China. One architect is now using them to construct homes in California. This country is selling its soul to keep itself in cheap oil, cheap clothing, and cheap stuff of all kinds. We are 5% of the world's population using 30% of its resources. How long will that continue? China has gone from a second rate farm economy to the second largest user of oil as a burgeoning industrial economy in only 18 years. WW II was fought over oil if you look it up. We were selling oil back then, and in July of 1941 we embargoed Japan's oil supply. Neither Japan nor Germany had oil on thier property, so they expanded out to the Dutch Shell oil fields in Indonesia in the pacific, and Germany took over the Ploieşti oil fields In Romania. When will we fight the Chinese for oil? Or will we just give up because they already own one Trillion of our current debt. (Treasury Bonds) We are borrowing two Billion dollars a DAY from foriegn countries, including China, just keep going. I remember as a kid after WW II when something made in Japan was junk. Now the finest cars and the best electronics and cameras are Japanese. This country's automobile manufacturers are going bankrupt. Chrysler is now German. The Chinese bought a Mallory Battery company from us about 14 miles from my home. They ran it at a loss for 14 months, then they boxed it up and brought it back to China to make batteries there. The cost of cement in this country has risen to ffour times its price about 8 years ago because the Chinese are using it as much or more then we are. Remember in order for a Capitalistic economy to run well you need a huge underprivilged class. (the immigrants of the 19th and 20th century) China has the largest underpriviliged class of people in the world, we can not compete with them. They will become the ultimate World Capitalists, and we will work for them if we do not see that our current consumerism is just a trap. Clever those Chinese are hiding behind their Communist cloak but really being the smartest Capitalists on the planet. We beat the Russians because of our Capitalistic society. We must run this country with fiscal responsibility. The current administration is bought and sold by corporations, including Walmart. None of them care for you or I at all. (They raised Congressmen's salary 8 times since 1997, but will not increase the minimum wage even once in that time) It is the best government money can buy. Shake them up, vote all the incumbants out in November, whether Democrat or Republican!!!! It is our only chance to show them who is ultimately in control here.

I never get the opportunity to exploit labor myself. I can only achieve that by shopping at WalMart. If you find another way, let us know!
