Be frank and honest with your wife and tell her the truth, but do not harbour such negative feelings for them. By doing so, you are only hurting yourself and your relationship with your wife.
By the way, they don't owe you a living. By being rich, it doesn't mean that they have to go round being charitable. Though it may be morally good for them to be generous, they have the right to make their own choices, right? So, why be angry with them? Because they are related to your wife?
Go on and stay with them for the sake of your relationship with your wife and yourself. Just don't focus on their selfish behaviour. Who knows, their behaviour towards you may change if you do not behave so bitter towards them.
Give it a try. You will find some changes.

Well if you don't give a rats *** about her family but you love her you surely can do it for your wife.Whats the holidays compared to a life time with the one you love. Do it for the sake of the holidays. You don't want to be arguing 4 the special occasions just because of them. Sounds to me like you got the pick of the family and she must not be like them. So I would say go for it hold your tongue and have happy holidays. P.S. anyone arguing about the other ones family is just gonna end up in arguement. You know thats a defensive subject because anyones gonna defend their family.

Tough one! On one hand, you married her, so now you have to unfortunately see the in-laws and others on holidays and occasions, but you should be honest in telling her how you feel about the whole situation and how uncomfortable you are to be around them. Maybe you can go visit, but make a restriction in how long you will stay, etc. Compromise maybe. But I would be honest in how I was feeling if she doesn't already know. You don't have to be so blunt with her, but let her know what your reasons are.

If you love her and truly cherish her, and if its what she wants to do for the holidays, then I say suck it up and be a man. But also, you can take a flask with you, sneak out, have a few drinks, bet you could tolerate them alot better if you were drunk lol.

Tell your wife how you feel. Go for a little while and leave early. But tell them ahead of time that you have to duck out early.
Sorry Man..... I know how you feel except mine are the beverly hillbillies!

Be open and honest...I mean, she's your wife...Come to a compromise, like maybe every other year. Otherwise, you may say something you'll regret.

Deal with it to save yourself from misery. You've done it before, you'll do it always.
