Not all cops are fat. A good deal of them are pretty fit because ever so often they have to run a course called the popat, link below tells about it. But basically a good majority of people wouldn't even get halfway through without collapsing. You also have to consider the amount of time that all they get to do is sit in their car watching traffic. Jerks? Well maybe it may seem that way cops can become very cold just from the things they have to see and deal with every day. These are real people though! With families and friends just like anyone else! Just because they seem cold while working doesn't mean that's really how they are, they have to be tough it's part of the job. Corruption is sick but it's not something every cop is about. Corruption expands further then cops as well. Government, corporations, and stuff like that.
My ex was training to be a cop and I have high respect for what they had to go through only to be delt a very hard stressful job with little pay.

Most cops are not fat and sloppy, they have to keep in shape to keep thier jobs. My mom was a cop. You may be referring to the highway patrol. They don't have the same training or anything. To tell the truth most (Most people not all) highway patrol are kinda big, but thats only because they have to eat out all the time. They can't go home to eat healthy and even when the are on lunch they are on call so the just eat fast food.

My dad was a cop and he qasn't any of those things. Our legal system is corrupt becuase people like you get away with doing illegal stuff. Do the math

I've had a few cops help me out over the years. I only met one I didn't like. Give them a break; it's a tough job.
