how do i stop from answering the phone or calling back a person i shouldnt be talking to? i feel like i have no control

i know what you mean, and even if you turn it off or turn it down, you will keep checking it over and over. you have to do two very hard things, first, probably the hardest, but decieded if you really want to talking to or be with this person. second, and i know from personal experience, its hard to press the numbers, but block the number, it will drive you crazy for a while, wondering if theyre calling right now, but it helps because even if you unblock, you still wont be able to see if they called in that time period, which will, (and i know it doesnt sound like it will help but it does) honestly let you keep the block on longer and longer, until youre not constantly worrying if theyre calling

You have all the power. If you don't answer the phone, they will just have to leave a message. If you don't return the call, the most they can do is keep calling. Better yet, just be an adult and ask the person to stop calling. To get control you have to take it.

hi there,
start phoning them write down a list of reasons why you feel that you wish to speak to them, and get their thoughts on your feelings.
Ask them personal questions that you really have no right to be asking.
inquire when they will be home after you hang up so you can ring them back.
invite them to meetings and then council half an hour before you are meant to meet them.
sleep with them see how it goes? funny as this may sound that's what you are obviously, having thoughts about...
And always remember you can never love 2 people at once, the reality is you end up very quickly loving neither and you find yourself in a **** load of emotional torment...

You just need to make up your mind and do it. Tell your self you are not a wimp and that you are stong and in control. Turn off the ringer and answering maching and keep busy!

just dont answer. turn the volume off and u wont hear it. hide the phone :-) and pretend that u dont know where is it
