For Cashiers and Baggers: Isnt it annoying when...?

If you work in a grocery store you can understand...
When people leave their children in a cart with you and walk away
When people on food stamps are buying steak
When old people or illiterate people try to use the self checkout
When people put groceries they don't want all over your lane
When young girls have WIC when they don't need to be opening their legs if they can't afford a kid
When Mexicans press the english button and don't speak english
When people speak english and press the spanish button and don't speak spanish
When people don't put clothes or shoes on their kids
When people tell you how to do your job
When people stare at you to hurry up and they don't even bother to help you
When people tell you how to bag their groceries when they can clearly do it themselves
When they pretend to struggle with their case of water or bag of dogfood just so you will pick it up for them
When they talk really loud to eachother critizing the store to make you hear them

My advice to you is to quit bitching, if you don't like "working" in retail, then assume another possition ASAP, so you aren't one of those bitching about working with the public........it seems that all you want to do is scan items, and NOT help the public, which IS YOUR JOB, IN CASE YOU ARE TOO MENTALLY LAME TO KNOW THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE.......As an added bonus to slap you into reality, I'll bet you're an overweight woman with marital problems, or better yet, one without a partner in their lives, and just strive to make the rest of our lives miserable, as miserable as your deplorid life is..........working as a "cashier"........give me a break..............

You're the one getting paid here, not me. I'll bag my own groceries if it gets really busy but not because I feel sorry for you having to actually do some work.

What about working in retail? That has it's downsides too! The most annoying one is when people can't put things back where they got them! The just throw the clothes over the rack, or put them down if they don't want them...I'm not their mother...I shouldn't have to pick up after them!!

I only have a problem with the part about helping to bag . I'm not getting payed why should I do your job ? Will you come to mine and do the same ?

You forgot one that's my pet peeve! People that wait until they are all ready checked-out and write out their check!!!! It's not like they don't know they will be using a check. They can fill-out the check before they are checked-out. Everything but the amount and their name. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
