if ur using a scouring pad maybe thats why... i use a wash cloth then dry it up really good with a chamios (i think thats how u spell it) letting it sun dry causes water spots and damage to ur paint

Are you getting the car wet before you put soap on it? If you aren't, I imagine this would cause scratches.

First off learn english second you must not be doing it right remember rocks and dirt don't clean cars they get them more dirty use water an a sponge or towel or a wool mitt
