well, im going there for my 12th birthday, but i only go to abercrombie kids, and the stuff there is actually quite inexpensive. Like, a pair of jeans there is $40, and a shirt would cost $15 if u got it on sale. thats not bad. if you're 13 and under, go to the abercrombiekids store. Hollister is about the same price. And if people say ur full of your self if u shop there, its just because they dont know anything: they're jealous cuz they cant afford it.

well I just recently started going there, and I am almost 14.
I think you need to be around 13 or 14 when you start shopping there. yeah sometimes when you are younger than that and you wear Hollister or Abercrombie, ppl are gonna think that yr a prep and you are full of yourself sometimes.

i think hollisters and abercrombie are for like 10 year olds and up. personally, some of their stuff can be mature and cute but its more focused on younger kids. their target customer is from ages 10 to 16. abercrombie and fitch is for not even adults. 18-20 or something.

My son is 10 and he has some Hollister and AF shirts. I try not to push him to the high dollar stuff because I know that there are plenty of years ahead that I will be going without professional haircuts and designer purses to support his clothing expenses.

well if you can fit in those clothes then i guess you old enough but you might want to be careful with like the 11 and 12 yr olds and some of the shirts they pick out cause they might not be appropriate for them

If you're 11 or 12 and shop there people are going to think you're a prep and you are, Ifyou're more mature and if you go there just because you like the style, its ok, some kids ACTUALLY go there because of the brand.... pshheeehh

Well, I'm 47, but I was in Hollister last month buying my 17 year old son a birthday present. They really are expensive. It was a real treat for him. It's his favorite place, but he can't go there very often.

You shouldn't shop there. The service is terrible, and then you wind up carrying a big bag with naked people on it. The clothes are ugly AND overpriced. Need i say more?

Old enough to fit in the clothes???? My daughter shops there and she's not full of herself. Just be yourself and dress appropriately.
