If in doubt about shade, go lighter (I know from experience that darker looks bad!) and just put it all over your face, blend down past the jawline up to the hairline and past the chin and it should look fine. BUT, if you use foundation you might need mascara and/or blush because foundation can cover the pinkness of your cheeks and make eyelashes blend in. Since this is in preparation for school pics I'd say ask someone else to help you test the makeup you plan on using beforehand (day before or whatever) to see that it looks the way you want to be remembered ;)

Do not put on anything pink toned on for pictures. It will appear whiter on the prints. Opt for a neutral or warm foundation color. Sand beige in that line may be the best option for you(you may have to lighten or darken but start there and stay away from the pink toned foundations). Warm up the blush by using maybe a mauve tone. Dream mousse blush #50 may be just the right one for you. Without actually seeing your complexion, I am taking a shot in the dark. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem when the season changes and my tan is fading. sometimes i have to but two one closes to my untanned skin and one a lil darker. just dab on some of both and blend well. depending on what color shirt you are wearing you can add a lil color to your eyes and cheeks and a nice tinted gloss. i wouldn't put any foundation on neck and sholders, just make sure you blend the make up in aroung jaw line so you don't see where your make up starts.

Just match the shade to your skin the best you can, dont put it on your neck and shoulders because it could get all over your shirt... it wont look weird on just your face if you match it well...if you dont have anyone to help you match just comare the color to your hand and if you get stuck between 2 shades it is probably better to pick the lighter one ( you dont want to look orange...)

the dream matte mousse applys pretty evenly. blend it well and look in a well lit mirror. blend to your chin and you should be fine unless your top is low cut... to find your shade you can try maybaline's web site or most stores have a card you can but on your hand to see wich color blends to your tone best/
