You need to be more clear with your question. Why would death on earth be anyone's ultimate goal? Eternal life should be everyone's ultimate goal. That is because if you do not choose life you will be eternally dead.

DidoDeeDee: before you die you better find out what two options you have each with eternal results. Maybe there is something you should be doing to assure yourself eternal life instead of eternal death.

I'm sure what I have to say will sound about as ridiculous as anything else, already said , so I'll be brief!

In the end, it depends on whom you think you need to impress!

It might be good if we did somthing memorable or gave someone a hand so they could get a start impressing the people or person they wanted to.

You can imagine "anything" you like about after were gone, if that makes you feel better, but If you dont create a better life before its that time, it won't matter and now one will be around to care!

Good luck!

.Tell me not in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou are, to dust thou returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each tomorrow
Find us farther than today.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act, - act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o'erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sand of time;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o'er life's solenm main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

Goals are defined by the individual. Death here on earth is our ultimate fate, but goals are what we accomplish while we're living.

death on Earth is our ultimate OUTCOME, not a goal. Our goal is to do as much good for our friends, family and neighbors as we can, and to praise God for the gift of life which he has granted us. To leave a lasting legacy, that is our goal.

Onward with your march,
subtle voyeurs into the painless drift!
March headstrong, smiling into that abyss!

Death? what is death to us extensional, porous, objectly things?
Embrace your noumenal longing for annihilation!
Together we arive, the universe complete!

Defy not the inevitable, or cry for storms in the desert:
the moon will haunt you in the dark, wailing
on cold gravestones of impossible love.
What does Hesperus think of life racing after
Nothing entitled; snicker nor ribald remark

I hear trumpets, but no such sound exists!
I believe against conviction
And fight against an invisible enemy, cajoling,
craven, he harks from nowhere that voice may be naught,
when these signs have no import --- the anti-body
fleshesizes our intrepid straits.

Words emboldened, words spoke from the God of nowhere,
this life casualty be, before it has begun -- death beckons us from natality.

Maybe it is yours, but my ultimate goal is to rise above death and see it as just another part of life, or a doorway to the next and greatest adventure.

I'd say not so much goal as only thing you can be sure will happen. From a natural stand point to reproduce is our ultimate goal.

I think that the ultimate goal should be not to let our deaths be in vain. Make a difference with your life, make sure that it had a point.

A "goal" is something to which one aspires. Death will come to us, whether we aspire to it or not. Death should be seen as a framework to the rest of life; something which heightens and enhances experience when it reminds of life's impermanence.
