Be very polite, but firm. You dont have to give a reason, but it might help. How about, "I'm sorry, Brittany, but I really do not think we would be alike enough", or "No, thanks, I'm dating Emily and I'm committed to the relationship/going steady right now" or "I like you as a friend, Brittany, but I dont think that it would work out otherwise."

If you are not direct, she will keep asking you out.
You do not have to be a jerk. Just be direct and in no uncertain terms tell her you are not interested.

I would simply say'"Please do not ask me again as it makes me feel uncomfortable. I am not interested in you in the least. And if I chose to, I could file a sexual harassment complaint against you.
Please leave me alone.
And if she doesn't, do file one. If it is at work, tell the boss to have her leave you alone.

Tell her you already have a girlfriend or that she just isn't your type. Or you could tell her you think of her as a sister....that'll make her stop!

Say: "I'm sorry, I'm just not interested in going out with you right now. If I change my mind I will let you know. Thanks." Good Luck! :)
