if you are referring to your connection speed when you dial up, it depends on the time of day... more or less if there are a lot of people accessing the dial up in that moment you are also connected, it will run slow. but if only few of them are using it, of course it runs fast. but if you are talking about your computer itself, better check your computer, you might have a lot of programs installed or have your computer clean up

"Dial-up" simply refers to the type of internet connection you have, and in this day and age, it's very slow. Computers can go through times of running faster and slower for many reasons, some of which include: certain programs using up a lot of memory or processor, lots of spyware from the internet installed themselves on your system, your system needs to be or just has been defragmented.

Do you mean slower accessing the internet? Or slower just doing regular software stuff? If you are referring to internet, it depends on network traffic, time of day, load on other servers etc etc. Your question is really broad and vague. Lot's of factors involved.
