I used to have these falling off dreams so often that I was afraid of going to sleep. One day before bed, I told myself that I must allow myself to fall all the way till I touch the ground. Guess what? It worked! I was in the same dream, falling, falling, and my subconscious mind just forced myself to keep falling without waking and then wallah! I hit the ground with a thud and I awoke with a start. Since then, I never had that falling dream again.

It is possible that you would die 2 days later after having a falling dream, but the actual dream itself would not be the cause of your death.

No....I have had many dreams where I have fallen from a great distance and hit the ground and I am still here. I've also had dreams where I have died in other ways, but nothing physically happened to my body from this.
