Cinnamon Apple
Vanilla Spice
Rain Garden (or something rain-ish)
Strawberry spice.
Anything that has spice involved is quite nice. I especially love lavender. It's a cool smell. But just try to find something a bit musky... a little bit deeper than citrus. Something that has cinnamon or mint or something deeper in it.

Right now I am using the Hazelnut Cream scent. Once this one is gone, I'll switch over to the Apple Pie scent.
Anything that smells like cinnamon, or spice or cookies is a good fall scent.

All the ones already listed are great. You should get your girlfriend an oil simmerer. Then she could simmer a drop of essential oils or melt those candle tarts.
