It's fine if you want to look worse. Yes, popping them will make them smaller but leaves a scar. At first you might not notice probably because you're comparing it to before you popped it, but soon you'll have craters on your face. Good luck on getting rid of those.

Hang in there, put some toothpaste (paste not gel) on it to dry overnight, and keep telling yourself, " better than craters!"

To pop or not to pop?. While many acne sufferers have their own take on popping pimples, doctors widely claim that popping acne is a bad idea fraught with unnecessary risks. popping a whitehead can actually drive bacteria further down into the pore. The end result could be the recurrence of a more significant blemish. As anyone who has popped a whitehead knows, a blemish frequently returns to the exact same area. There is also frequent reddening of the area from infection, which is common when popping pimples. So, the next time a whitehead stares at you from the mirror, try to turn the other cheek. If there is a blemish on the other cheek, make your peace with that one as well. The best thing to do is, just keep the area clean, it will go away.

I have always been a popper and I don't have any permanent scares. (I know it's scars-I just did that for your benefit!) Seriously, I think that if you wash your hands and then apply an anibiotic ointment (like neosporin) you should be fine.

I just can't stand walking around with a huge goiter, especially on my face. I often find that popping them and squeezing until the hard middle part comes out (affectionaltely called the "core" in our house) that it makes them go away much quicker. It's almost as though the hard middle part is causing the infection-usually it seems like a hair follicle or something-and once it's out and the pressure is relieved the blemish starts to go away.

If you can do without popping them it is best to. If you can't and the blemish is really embarassing, try popping the zit with a small needle and using the needle very lightly to move the pus out of the small hole. The smaller the hole, the less of a scar. Be careful this method might or might not work for you.

Q-tip soaked in HOT water and a cotton ball...the hot water will help easy the "popping" because the skin is thinner. Using the q-tip and cotton ball is a little more sterile than using your fingers or fingernails. Have another cotton ball with warm water dabbed on it or vitamin E oil dabbed on to dabbed the aren...also if you don't want to pop try toothpaste...just a lil bit on the zit will help dry it up.

Popping pimples is ok if you do it GENTLY. I have popped many pimples, super gently - dont force the puss out just give it a little push until it comes out. After you get all the puss out with a napkin, then apply the Citrus Clear Spot Treatment and within 24 hours it will be all gone. No marks.

Popping zits can leave scars and makes the infection go in deeper...I don't think you should.

it will cause scars the best thing to do is run some hot water on a rag and put it on the zit to bring it closer to the surface and then gently scrape the top off but if u have to try too hard then its probly not ready
