my jeans tore at the knee and i tore it all the way around and made shorts...
what can i make with the legs (from about the knee down) of my jeans? any suggestions?

cut them in half and make them boot covers or leg warmers.or cut them on a side sew them together and make a skirt and have alot of people sign it

Well, just a suggestion, you might be able to cut the left over legs of your jeans about 3 times on each leg. Then sew up one side, add some Jewery chain(you can buy it from craft stores) and atach that to the open sides.
The chain is the handle/strap and the jeain part is the bag! So there you go, you now have some little denim bags!!!
You can now decorate them with ribbons, buttons, sequins, bows, have little charms dangling off, or if you have some denim left over, you can add a pocket on one of the sides and secure with a button.
If you want the bag to close, you can sew some ribbon on each inside, side of the opening of the bag, or sew a button on one of the insides and on the other, a little loop the push the button though to hold. Or you can sew on a zip(you can buy them from Craft stores too)or velcro(craft stores sells velcrow too!) Or just leave it open!
Let your imagination and fashion sense run wild!!!
There is just sooo many options!
You can keep them for presents for family or friends, give them away to them or sell them at your loacal market! That way you are making money out of nothing! Thats whats so great about recycling!
If you were to sell them at a stall or market or fair, you could buy more jeans from second hand clothes shops, and use other clothing items!!!

you can make a little make up bag. then decorate it on the outside with some iron ons you can get from any store.
You can also make a pencil holder case for your school pens pencils rubbers and rulers.
