ok so i have an apple powerbook 12 inch. and when my computer goes idle it logs my user off. how do i change it so that my computer does not automatically log me off?

go to system preferences
go to energy saver
set the various options eg power adapter and set to never sleep
you might also try the security settings in system preferences
1.Open System Preferences and click Security.
2.If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type an administrator name and password.
3.Select "Log out after __ minutes of inactivity."
4.Change the amount of time if you wish, and close the window to save your changes.
For added security, select "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver."
