Congratulations to the Detroit Tigers and their fans. They certainly outplayed, outhustled, outpitched, outhit and outmanaged the Oakland A's. They are certainly the most deserving team to represent the AL in the World Series.
I'm an A's fan...it always stings to lose, but this one doesn't sting as much as losing in 2001 and 2003.

The Tigers are amazing at this point. After their collapse at the end of the season, being swpet in a series by the Royals where one win would have won them the division, I thought they were D-O-N-E done. Way to go Jim Leyland.

in 2003 the tigers lost 119 games. now they are the al champs, the 3rd world series since WWII.

agreed. I was very suprised in their series with the twins but this was embarrasing to the A's after their run
