I am sitting here feeling grateful for the last four days of our annual library book sale which nearly knocked me flat out. All of us volunteers work ourselves ragged, and nothing feels better than afterward, when you realize how many people you must have touched or helped during that interval. We moved so many books I lost track of them all and there were so many people who came this year they had to park on side streets, far away from the library itself. My old legs are feeling the work now and it is a wonderful feeling. So, to answer your question from above, knowing that I have helped other people is making my Saturday evening a decent place to stop and rest.

Well. I`m still up. Just finished a hellish night on Londons Blacks. Having my usual half bottle of whisky and I`m off to bed with some old tramp I picked up earlier. I hate this Job !!!!

I'm here for the duration. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of the house right now. I like this time of the night. I can enjoy the silence.
