Old age and death might subtract some of the over population. Wouldn't it be nice if humankind could find solutions to relieve the suffering of those deaths, at least? The world is not a safe place to live. Your question is as old as the hills, but it's still a good one.

Death is occurring every day within us at cellular level. Just that rejuvenation too is happening alongside, at a declining rate. We would eventually get worn out as a sum total of chemicals with the cohesiveness getting depleted.

based on your question, if there is no hunger, then there would be no strife towards satisfying a hunger... and therefore, no competition to survive. with that said, the human population would naturally balance based on that which feeds us... similarly to large sharks in the ocean...

there is no over-population to sharks because there is a natural balance within the food source.... and NOT due to any of the above-mentioned 'deaths'.
