You can stream free music with Pandora (you'll have to sign up after a few song) or Jango. There is an ad about every 30 minutes of playing, if that. Pretty good deal. If you're looking to download (free and legally) Jamendo is a good site to use. I'm not sure if they have "current" music... I think it might be more Indie.

if you have high speed internet connection, you can subscribe to internet radio with CD quality stereo music. then record the music as you listen. but the file name created are just numbers and not the title of the song. but when you play the music using windows media player, it can give you the title of the song.
or try kazza.

Well it depends. For example, I love eurobeat! I found a website full of eurobeat mp3's and saved targets as. Just google the music you want.

try to find a p2p program such as Ares, morpheus, or livewire. they allow you to search for music files and download them between yourself and other people. Hope that helps you out.

Nothing in life is truly free. There's always a hidden cost or risk somewhere.

you can download limewire or bearshare to download the songs or you can go to airmp3.com and search for the songs there, some songs you can download right from the website.
