I'm 8 weeks, and suddenly without any symptoms. I went from feeling really pregnant, to just some blue veins and minor back pain/discomfort. Could I have gotten a false positive? Do the symptoms really just dissappear? Do they come back? Could something else be wrong? Any similar experiences?

Most have symptoms early on, like you did.
Then, most of those symptoms go away by the end of the first trimester.
Though, every person and every pregnancy is different.
Bleeding is a different story though, and is fairly common, but never normal. See your doc immediately if you start bleeding.

If it is your first baby, you won't usually feel it move until around week 20 (that's an average, though...you could feel the baby as
early as the 14th week).

I am sure you and the baby are fine!

Congratulations!

I'm sure you're fine! If you're concerned, take another pregnancy test. For me, I didn't feel pregnant until I started throwing up around week 8. And then, the only way I knew I was pregnant, was that I kept throwing up every week or so. We told my mom-in-law and then I was so concerned that maybe I really wasn't pregnant--so I went and took another test. I think it's a very normal concern to have. Unless you've had symptoms that would suggest a miscarriage (like bleeding, severe cramping, etc.), don't worry about it!

Could just be that your body is changing a lot. But usually this is associated with miscarriage. Very early miscarriage. I have 2 babies and had my symptoms through the first 2-3 months. I got pregnant again and had very bad pregnancy symptoms then one day they just dissapeared as well,no bleeding gums,no more sore breasts,no morning sickness..nothing! I didnt think too much of it until a few days later I started spotting and cramping and found out I was miscarrying. One of the first signs are miss pregnancy symptoms. I suggest u call your doctor and get checked out. It could be harmless or something that needs to be checked out..Good Luck with you and your baby!

Im not sure if u get use to being preg. But i was preg and lost my first at weeks. I think im preg again, and it already feels diffrent. I have some of the same pain, in breast minor cramps. But it doesnt hurt as bad as when i was preg. with my first. But if u start to bleed or have such bad pain u can sit up right, I would see ur doc. ASAP. Hope all works out for u. GOD bless.

The best Idea is to see your Doctor, if a home test came back positive you still need to confirm with a Doctor, so they can do blood work to check the hormone levels etc...its better to be sure so you can the proper precautions, vitamins eating right etc...If your worried call the Doctor, thats the ONLY way to know for sure what's going on.

Good luck, I hope all is well!

Every pregnancy is different, so it's hard to tell you what is normal for you. You won't have major symptoms throughout the pregnancy...it's fine to feel normal for a while. I went my first pregnancy feeling totally normal the entire time...sometimes it just happens that way. If you're really concerned, contact your physician. Good luck!

Your body is probably just settling in and getting used to being pregnant. As long as you are getting the appropriate prenatal care, be glad that the syptoms are gone!

jennie, mine did the exact same thing and i was in a panic. i called the doctor and asked everyone i knew. its just ur body adjusting to all the hormones finally. they'll probably be back, but they may not. i was scared that my hormone level was dropping. glad to know im not the only overly cautious nutt out here..lol. we're fine.

Unfortunately they tend to come back .enjoy the moment.
You may not have any more, other then getting bigger and cravings, not everyone has them either .Be as happy as you can and talk to the baby .

I think you should call the doctor. Maybe you are having a miscarriage (low back pain). Hope not.
