I accidentally deleted some files using a photo editing software. I have downloaded several recovery software programs, but I can't get any of them to work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am getting desperate and would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks.

You can and there are programs online that you can use to recover the files however you can't have deleted anything else or installed anything on this drive since you deleted them. And it being a harddrive I don't think that will have been the case, However I have recovered photoes and programs from my moms computer many times using these programs. One is called PC Recovery and I am sorry but the orrigonal one I used I can't remember the name. Good Luck in getting your files back.

Accidentally deleting photos, files, songs, e-mail, or videos can leave you feeling frustrated and helpless. With Search and Recover you never have to feel that way again. This data recovery software rescues critical work and cherished memories you thought were gone forever.

Try looking in the recycle bin and if you can't find anything there, hire a computer geek to get them back.

I take it you emptied your recycle bin?

I've used a program called "Restoration" with great success.

Check it out here:
