I would suggest that they don;t cover their mashed potatoes with gravy or cheese when out as this may lead to an interaction with the dirty restroom.
I;d give them a purple balloon next.
Then I'd probably be bored with them and leave

I'd just kinda look at that person and say uhhh..blink a few times and maybe walk away. No. I'd do a brisk walk. Yeah, a brisk walk sounds good. Random people coming up to me and saying random crap cause me to also go to a place that is full of lots of people..

i guess i would probably just keep chatting about it with them
tell them i only use my own restroom
and only eat my own my own homemade mashed potatos
but the talking to random people thing doesnt bother me
in fact i do it
if the person didnt seem like much of a wackadoodle it wouldnt bug me
if they seemed threatening or if i didnt have time
id just nod and veer off in another direction

considering the person came up to me and is a complete stranger i would probably smile nervously and then walk away quickly. but i would agree with them lols.
