haven't lately, i don't scare easily

When I was a little kid I was put out on the streets. I lived from day to day and have seen and done things that would make most people afraid. Now I live in a much better place. But I still can flash back to my old life and when that happens, yes, I scare myself.

yes, with the dumb things i think and then make the mistake of saying out loud!
ex: this girl i work with came in with a picture of her baby with the easter bunny like you get at the mall or something. me being the dumb blonde that i am for some reason thought the easter bunny was a stuffed animal....(who props their babies against stuffed toys and takes pictures??? apparently people in my mind) so when i finally realized that it was a person dressed as the easter bunny i said out loud "ohhh its the REAL easter bunny!"
i'm 28 years old and this was this last easter
