Cancer Male interested in Taurus Woman with child?

Im a 23 year old Cancer Male,I fit all the sterotypes of a Cancer Male,moody,great lover,go into my shell when offended

I just recently started talking to a Taurus woman who is one year older than myself.She has a 3 year old son from a previous relationship.Her son is a Cancer and shares the same exacty birthday as I do,as well as him having the same middle name as myself.

Its seems like we have alot in common and she is very down to earth and a homebody which I like.Her voice is also very soothing and I honestly feel that she and have have a solid foundation to work with.Her family situation was very similar to mine as growing up.

My question is that we just recently started talking but I feel like it will take alot longer time to win her heart than I would like.Im not really wanting to jump into sex,but I would like to figure out the best way to maybe speed up things so we could start the cuddling,minor lovemaking.

Her child seems to be her number 1 priority,maybe too much for me

First off why would you want to be with a woman that wasn't an AWESOME mom? She should always put her child first. That is not to say that she isn't totally into you. There will come a day that you might want children and I am sure you will want your woman to be awesome to your kids. Don't count her out just because she has a little boy. Of course she is taking this slow, she has a child to worry about. She doesn't want him to get attached to you and then you leave. Not good for the child. If you like her you need to give it time.
This could end up being a perfect match but you will never know if you don't give it a chance.

I think that any mom's first priority is usually her child... and if she's been on her own for a while, that's especially true. Don't take it to heart... I'm guessing that she's used to being the only one there for her son, and deep down worried about you two getting close, then your relationship falling apart, and doesn't want to answer the "Mommy, where's Daddy?" questions again..
Talk to her, and say that you're really, REALLY interested in her....She SHOULD get the hint :)

you won my heart already! my husband is a cancer male and my daughter is cancer, too. he accepted the fact that no matter what my child comes first. he is a great man who took a chance with his heart and found so much love in return.

U should tell her how u really feel about her..she is probably waiting for you to talk about it..Take her out on a nice romantic date and just talk...Her son is always going to be her number 1 priority but that doesnt mean she does not care about you. He came first and he came from her..flesh and blood so of course. Dont mention that to her at all..not good. She will feel as though she has to mother you as well, being a cancerian you seek women who remind you of your own mother or seek women with a mothering nature - such as earth signs or water signs. You would be best to find a cancerian female without any children.
