Than it is watching a movie at the theater? I do! No screaming kids, people munching popcorn aloud and making noise. No more stumbling around in the dark, and missing part of the film, just because you need to get up and go to the bathroom. Besides, it's cheaper to rent a DVD, and the picture clarity is brighter and clearer, and the sound can be adjusted to your own personal taste.

depends on how good your home entertainment theatre is. If its better than the movie theatre, then stay at home.

I Do. coz it is more relax and more comfortable - i always get room dark and sitting in the sofa.(having chocolate sometimes)
love to share DVDs with family and bf. and i can repeat the soundtrack many many times - i like music so much
but, for some movies i perfer to watch it at cinema for the first time, then the second, third...times with family at home.

watching movies at home is much better than at the theater especially if you have plasma screen and surround sound with the bass all the way up

it is better for the reasons u said but i still like seeing movies in the theaters b/c its louder and clearer...and leaves a bigger impression...at least i think so...but then i do like the comfort of my house...
