My moms friend left her marriage for another man that she had only knows a few weeks. She was unhappy in the marriage and planned to leave it n-e way. The problem is that she didnt leave because she was done with the marriage, and didnt even file divorce papers untill a month or two after she had moved in with the other guy, but because the other guy had more money, a nicer car, and a better house. She has admitted to me that she was only useing him when i asked her about it. Does this make her a whore? or is it alright for her to do this even though she only wants the material possesions? What should i do seeing as the man in question is a close friend, like a father to me. Im only 15 and dont want to be snotty but i cant sit idly around and listen to the story as it unfolds

what I'm having a hard time with is why this grown women is telling a 15 year old this kind of thing. but beings that she has, if this man is close to you i think that you should tell him what she has told you. understand though he may choose not to believe what you say. if this is the case you need to know that you did what you could and let this man find out for him self what she is all about. p.s. you are one smart cookie!! it may make her a whore but it also makes her a useless piece of dirt.

Also known as gold digging and yes it's bad, what happens is that they get married and after a year of being married they split up and she will get half of everything like money and the car and half of all his stuff, maybe that's why she left her other husband, they are alot of people like that and it sickens me.
What you should do is talk to her with a small tape recorder but you have that hidden and make her say something that would uncover her bad side, you record the conversation and then show it to your father or your good friend that he is, he will thank you for it.

No, that's doesn't make her a whore, she's materialistic and probably doesn't know wht real love is. You can't measure love by peoples' possessions because that man could lose all of it tomorrow. Then what is she gonna do? Love him or leave him. Now let me ask you this.......if you were the man that she is with, wouldn't you want someone to tell you that you were being used, if you weren't aware of it. The truth may hurt, but it helps.

She in unscrupulous and selfish. I'll try to take some of the confused feelings from you. Pay attention to his situation and it's outcome. Determine that you will never be like this. It is not for us to judge her. But believe me further on down the road she will reap the seeds that she has shown. All the things she has done to this man will return to her full circle. Watch and see and thank God that you have a good spirit. God Bless You

I think you should tell your friend what you are seeing and hearing, even though it might not be easy for him to listen/understand a 15 year old. Be ready for him to not listen to you very well. But then at least you would have tried to do the right thing.

Adulteress and Adulterer are the correct names if you feel the need. If someone is calling her something else, check the dictionary.

ETYMOLOGY:
Middle English hore, from Old English hre; see k- in Indo-European roots

WORD HISTORY:
Derivatives of Indo-European roots have often acquired starkly contrasting meanings. A prime example is the case of the root *k-, "to like, desire." From it was derived a stem *kro-, from which came the prehistoric Common Germanic word *hraz with the underlying meaning "one who desires" and the effective meaning "adulterer." The feminine of this, *hrn-, became hre in Old English, the ancestor of Modern English whore. In another branch of the Indo-European family, the same stem *kro- produced the Latin word crus, "dear." This word has several derivatives borrowed into English, including caress, cherish, and charity, in Christian doctrine the highest form of love and the greatest of the theological virtues.·Another derivative of the root *k- in Indo-European was *kmo-, a descendant of which is the Sanskrit word for "love," kma, appearing in the name of the most famous treatise on love and lovemaking, the Kamasutra.

My advice is to stay out of it, or in the end you will wish you had.
For one thing. getting involved will probably end up turning your friend against you. It sounds like she is a gold digger.

No, but you are a gossip. You really shouldn't be talking to your mom's friend about things that are none of your business. Don't you have friends of your own?
