God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life--abundant and eternal.
The Bible says...

"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

So, to answer your question:
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.
The Bible says...

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Dont go blindly to God. Study all religions under their philosophical aspect, then chose if you still are keen to enter an endless process of QAs to your metaphysical worries.
Entering to God through Bible means you are chosing a one sided look at life and you become an adept (a person who is not free minded).
Take a very careful approach to this issue of God.

Well they say if you see god you die. You can get saved by saying a special prayer and then getting baptised in holy water.
You need to read your bible and pray to him so you can get to know him and he will soon answer your prayers. Try not to curse or sin becouse he is watching you all the time.

This is my favorite verse: (John 6:37) "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." If you speak to God in your heart (prayer), He will receive you. Ask him to forgive you and change you and lead you and guide you, and He will. Read His word every day (the Bible) and open your heart to His spirit. Plan to do what He says and you'll be amazed at how happy you can be. Psalm 119:148 "Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word." Try one of the reading plans at BibleGateway.com

In the New Testament there is a verse that says the apostles "were all in one accord." So go in God's Honda.
