What are the Pro's and Con's of electric drum kits?

The pros are that you can play quieter without waking people, and u can have differents samples from different sets in them. i like them for practicing inside a house w/ people, but im really an acoustic man myself, u cant really tune electric kits the way you want and u cant make the different sounds or make up cool ways to hit certain things on an electronic kit, it has to be built in.

The Pro of having an electric Drum kit beside the obvious control of the noise is that they have meteronomes on them. Use it and learn to stay on beat with a slow BPM.
