Make a fancy meal to be served by candlelight.

When he unwraps his cutlery from the (linen) napkin, have a baby spoon & fork in there.
I hope he's happy----and my congrats to both of you.

My sister did this to me. She made cupcakes for me one day, and i was a little suss considering she was married and living out of home ect. ha ha. but i was like "okay, cool. Did you have an ultrasound today?" And she was like "yeah i did. Open the container" so i did. And the cupcakes were pink! - Yes, she died the batter too! And then pink icing and then on the pink icing in white, there were 9 cupcakes. with the letters: I T S A G I R L ! Spelled out on them. I thought it was really cute. And it was just for me. You could do something similar for your husband, but maybe with his favourite food? Or drink? Dye his white wine blue if its a boy? haha. Or give the cupcakes to your mum =] My sister got my mum a whole bunch of pink roses and said they were really for a reason, but she would figure it out sooner or later. She sent her one rose, everyday for a week. Each rose had a letter attatched. But she jumbled them so it wasn't obvious. E.g. The roses came in the order of: L T R I S A I G Then mum had to make it into " ITS A GIRL" after the 8 days. :) I thought they were cute so yeah. Hope it helps.

Well, I was actually babysitting a 10month old for a friend when my hubby came home for lunch, and I hadnt really thought of a way to tell him. He asked me if I had a headache yet, and I said no not at all. And he came back with a "well I do!" and I said, Well you better get used to it. LOL He looked at me with huge eyes as I handed him the test.

Depending on how far along you are, my aunt told the family by getting my grandma a cute little baby picture frame and put a sonogram pic in it...it was really cute and everyone loved it.

all i can do is tell you how i told my b/f , see we already have a girl and he has a girl from an ex , so i called him at work and said having a good day so far ? he was like why you got something to make it a bad day ? i asked if he was sitting down he said no so i said sit down , at that point he was like whats up with all the weird questions? so i simply told him let me put it 2 you this way this is your last chance with me 2 have a boy ( cause i plan on getting my tubes tied after this one ) and he said why are you pregnant or some thing so i said BINGO!!!!! .. lol

We weren't supposed to get to have any babies. So when I found out, it was a real shock(we tried for nine years). When my husband got home, I just handed him the pregnancy test stick.

He looked at it and asked what it was. I told him what it was. he asked "Who's is this?" I replied with "I just asked random women to pee on sticks. It's mine of course!" He got the picture after the shock wore off. Best of luck to you!

Well I'm not sure how my sister in law told my brother for their first child but they told my parents and her parents by buying a girl outfit and a boy outfit and came into the room asking which one they liked better. Congrats and enjoy.

when I thought i was pregnant, we waited for the test to become positive together, it was very special. MY husband came to all appointments, was there when my waters broke and when i delivered our daughter. I was lucky to have him in a job that alowed him to be there.
