We're mid midlle class and we all cook and always have. in my area which is lower middle class mostly no one has a cook, though some people have a speacific member of the household who does most of the cooking. could be the parents or a child who enjoys cooking.

I cook 2 nights.
My husband cooks 2 nights.
My daughter cooks 1 night
We eat out 2 nights.
It works for us.

Sometimes I cook and sometimes my mom does. I'm only 13. Can't cook everything.

both my-self and boy-friend of 24 years work so we both do the cooking during the week and on week-ends he cooks and i do thje cleaning and washing the clothes
