When Mel Gibson got pulled oever for DUI, under intoxication, he said, " Jews are responsible for all the wars in this world".

Now, Whether or not I agree with that statement, ( I don't)

However, do you think it was fair that the Jews persecute Mel Gibson, just because he had an opinon about them?

I think Mel Gibson is a wonderful person with great talent! I don't care how bad he talks about Jews, he has a righ to feel whatever he wants! I will still pay to see his movies!!
What about you?

Truth is, I don't know what is inside of Mel's heart. I do know the facts. Mel made a movie about Christ and was hindered by the Jews in the industry. That is a very big offense toward not only Mel, but anyone who believes and obeys Christ. If you are unaware of these occurrences, you need only look at some of the news reels at that time period. Watching local and national news showed me Jews "protesting" the film...as if this was something new. The Passion is the number one film ever. This tells me that people wanted a good movie about the Lord. Then why o why didn't Hollywood crank one out? Simple: Jews do not like that message. It doesn't take a genius to conclude that Mel really, really, really had to put up with a lot of persecution behind the scenes. If Mel resents them for it, I think he is justified. Am I off base here?

Jews run the media. If you think this is an outrageous statement, only look at the last names of every power-broker in Hollywood and the media. Sure, corporations run everything, but who runs the corporations? They didn't want a really good film made about Jesus. That's just fact.

So, based on this information, we have to give Mel the benefit of the doubt here. It seems logical to conclude that Mel was harboring bad feelings because he was persecuted: denied his rights as an American, an artist, and a Christian.

How is Mel the bad guy here? For being human?

I don't know how to answer this excellent question without sounded bigoted and anti semitic but I will try.

Many Jewish people were very hard on Gibson for The Passion of the Christ and just piled on after the referenced comment. What I find extremely interesting is that Gibson's comment came not long after the Israeli-Hezbellah-Lebanon conflict. I just do not see how an inappropiate comment can be equated with terrorist who have vowed to wipe Isreal off the face of the map.

Mel Gibson is not the enemy of the Jewish people or the Jewish State of Isreal. For that matter Christians including born again evangelical Christians (I include myself in this category) are the most loyal supporters of Isreal. It seems to me that by attacking Mel Gibson and other Christians they are biting the hand that feeds them.

If any of the Jewish people feel offended by this then may I suggest to them they next time they need a friend and an ally please go to their Muslim neighbors. They will be glad to help them blow up those mean antisemitic Christians. But don't come back to me wanting support when Isreal's neighbor are pushing them into the sea.

Jews (religious or ethnic) have been blamed for so many things that they do not deserve to be blamed for. Why? Because these 'blames' are simply untrue. How on earth could Jews have been responsible for all the wars in the world? Was it Jews who made secret alliances between countries in World War I? Was it Jews who built up arms? Was it Jews who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand? NO! Of course not!
So, here's the thing: This 'opinion' of the Jews being the cause of all the world's wars is just ridiculous. What's even more so is the fact people justify this excuse as a reason to hate a minority of people... They try to find a moral reason to support their immoral feeling of hatred towards Jews.
Wouldn't you be sick and tired of the hate to a point where you would persecute someone for hating you and your people unjustly?

Well he went a little far fora celebrity with a movie coming out if he ever wants to make another dime in his lifetime. However, we live in the world of free speech, so YES he can say whatever he pleases.....

I love his abilities as an actor and director. But what movie star isn't nuts? Can we say Tom Cruise???
