ok im tryin to send my friend a copy of the grudge 1 cuz she wants to see 2 but shes never seen one..so i ripped a copy of the movie offa my dvd of the grudge,a nd i have it on my comp and its about 500 MB, now..does anybody noe what ***cough***(free)email service would let me attach a file this big to an email to send to her, yahoo only lets me attach files up to 10 MB..i tried Gmail but it keeps sayin theres an error..i suppose that means the file is too big...

You could try sending it to her via Yahoo Messenger, if that doesn't work try using this program:http://www.download.com/File-Splitter/3000-2248_4-10433030.html?tag=lst-0-4
It will split the file into small enough parts to email, then she can use the same program on her end to put it back together.

try sending it by FTP (File Transfer protocol). Both the receiver and sender should have FTP connections at their end. You can google to get more information about how to FTP a long file and its requirements. Hope this information will help.

you can try to compress the file before sending it using WinZip
