1. Jeans: Splurge on ONE ( or two =] ) pairs of expensive jeans cause they fit better, last longer and you will feel better when you wear them.
2. Sweater: Any color basically Doesn't matter. I would suggest your favorite color or any other color you look and feel best in,
3. Boots: Either biker boots, high heeled, or just plain boots you can basically wear them with anything and keep your feet warm and comfortable.

I'd make sure to have a pair of long black pants with a crease down the front. They're sexy for any age, and great for working and going out. I have a pair from GAP that I love, but you can probably get them any where.
You also need a good sweater, or jacket, and perhaps a scarf.

i agree... a decent pair of boots that wont get ruined by the salt/snow a coat that will keep you nice and warm (depends on where you live) and i like a decent pair of jeans that can go with sweaters, boots etc. Happy shopping!

just try to buy some thing that is color black or dark brown...
just anything that is dark so people might not notice it if u will wear in twice in a week or watver..
buy a nice thick coat and scurf
or a very thick sweater too
and snowboots as well,

In your case? Start off with a chain mail skirt, then a Kevlar thong. That might be puppy-proof.

nice boots (leather, riding boots, uggs, whatever)
peacoat (or a nice coat in general that can take you from day to evening)
and headbands that compliment your hair color.
