i don't, i haven't been on holiday or swimming or to the beach in age so i am kinda lucky..but how many people like doing it??
i don't even like people in my family looking at me with know shirt on.

I don't like shirts, I feel so much less restricted without them. Unfortunately, society deems it weird when someone doesn't have a shirt on, therefore I'm stuck with it.

It depends on the individual. I had one friend who had no qualms whatsoever of bearing his chest in public -- and he was no Adonis. But I am far more like you -- I am a very private person and see no need to bare it all in front of people, especially total strangers. Swimming, the locker room, my doctor's office and such -- that is fine with me -- but not just showing a bare chest at a outdoor get-together or even alone in a public park on a warm, sunny day.
Working in the garden or totally alone on a warm day in the wilderness? The shirt comes off for me very easily.The danger of skin cancer has made me more careful of stripping to my waist when outside though.
Sometimes I can see it if one is with a bunch of men and working outdoors or playing some sport or recreating. I can't see doing it in front of mixed company though (which includes women) because I think it might be construed to be sexually suggestive.

I agree I do not like to take my shirt off in public. I am not fat or anything like that in fact I am on the skinny side maybe a little to much. I just do not like it mostly because I am to self conscious.

Me too dude!! I hate going to the beach or being in a locker room. Even in front of my family.

Well, I am female. I would not take my top off in public, call me old fashioned. I don't think any of us need to take our top off if we don't want to. Just go and enjoy your self with your top on.
