Don't stress. Some women don't get very big at all. It has a lot of do with where you are carrying your baby. And me, I was so tiny until like 30 weeks and then I just gained a whole bunch of weight in the last 10 weeks. It made for some nice stretch marks but oh well. With my daughter I was tiny up until that last few months and I had a 9lb baby. I was huge with my son and he was 5lbs. I'm already huge with this one, I'm 22 weeks along. My step mom was huge and her baby was 6lbs. So size really has no baring on your baby's size. Don't stress. I've seen women 9 months along who were so small and they had perfectly healthy 7lb babyies. When I was 28 weeks with my daughter and I told people I was pregnant they would say I was lying. Unless your doctor is concerned you shouldn't be.

The only thing I can think is that your body is just holding the baby better than other women. If you have a long torso, you won't show as much as a woman that has a short torso. I'm about 28 weeks, and some days I "feel" smaller than other days. Also, it depends on who's looking at you. Men tend to freak out when they see preggo women and think they're going to burst, where women expect to see you larger from the beginning - which just isn't true, especially if it's your first baby.
Talk to your Dr. about it and as long as they think things are OK and you're gaining weight, you're probably just fine.
Enjoy the attention! I know it's been fun for me. LOL!

I was like that my entire pregnancy. Many people didn't believe I was pregnant when I was 8 months pregnant. My daughter came out at a healthy 7lbs 2oz, so naturally I was amazed that she fit inside of me without me showing much at all!
20lbs and you're 28 weeks is great weight gain! Your body might be one to stay small for awhile then grow quick. As long as your doctor says your weight gain is okay, then you're alright!
I know you're worried about the baby and I can't say to stop worrying, because that is virtually impossible. I think all of us women worry about our unborn children every day of the 9 months. But try to relax! Good luck to ya!

Oh, don't worry about it. Everyone is different. If you are small, it will be easier to loose the weight so be thankful.
As long as you follow your doctor's instructions you should be fine. As for height, look at your family tree and the baby's father and that should give you an idea of how your baby will turn up

Just remember that every pregnancy is different. For example, with my 1st pregnancy, I did not show until I was about 28 weeks. But my baby was 10lbs and 9ozs. I just had my 3rd baby in June and I started showing around my 12th week. My stomach was huge, but my baby was only 6lbs and 2ozs and I only gained 25 lbs. It all depends on your boby type too. If you're worried, go to your doctor. There are all types of tests to make sure the baby is fine and developing fine. Once you see your baby on the ultrasound, it'll put alot of your fears to rest.

Is your doctor saying that you are measuring fine? If so then I wouldn't worry. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I still don't have that big of a belly. Everyone keeps telling me that mine isn't that big either, and I only look like 4-5 months pregnant. I'm having a boy, and everyone told me that my belly will be "All baby". I'm not sure if that is true, or an old wives tale, but it seems to be accurate for me.
Congrats and good luck with everything! ♥

I'm assuming you are having proper prenatal care and the doctor and you have had ultrasound to make sure everything is alright at 28 weeks. When people say that, just say, yes, i am small but the baby is healthy. Sometimes your tummy looks small because of how you are carrying.
Along w/ the cocoa butter, vitamin E helps too!

I only gained about 17 pounds with my son. He was born at six and a half pounds, perfectly happy and healthy.
I barely showed when I was pregnant... until the last few months, people weren't sure if I was pregnant. With your first child, I hear, you don't show as much.
Not showing is NOTHING to be worried about. If your doctor sees no reason to be worried, then I see no reason for you to be worried. It's perfectly normal.

Eat healthy, no junk food, drink lots of water and milk and you will be fine. First pregnancy are different. Usually you are smaller so don't worry if you have gained 20 pounds your baby is fine. Just enjoy your baby, talk to the baby. Let him listen to pretty music and try to be happy so the baby will be happy. Best wishes.
