Planets look different and appear to act different from stars. Stars are said to be fixed, in that they are always in the same place all the time, and planets "wander" in that they change position with respect to the stars.

But nevertheless, Venus, a planet, is called either the Morning Star or the Evening Star, because it is often the first star-like object that becomes apparent in the sky at those times...so I would say Venus most personifies starry skies.

I think jupiter does this pretty well. It is made of gas and is almost big enough to have become a star. It has rings made of particles and rocks, like space. It can also be seen with the naked eye in the night sky under the right conditions.

If you mean "Which planet can you see clearest in the sky, then its Venus, or the Evening star. You can see it early in the evening or in the morning brighter than any other planet
