Center City is nice if you have deep pockets. Houses going for sale in upwards $250k and they are in nice pockets of the city, and expensive lofts and apartments that will be over $1500/month. Manayunk is very nice. Also Germantown near Lincoln Drive but it will be expensive. Northeast Philly (where I live) in Mayfair or Holmesburg is nice. Avoid Frankford or Kensington. I would not live in NJ since car insurance is astronomical. Philly burbs would be cool, like Montgomery or Bucks county. No bad areas in those sections. Email me if you have more questions.

you would possibly want to stay in Pennsylvania or New Jersey because they could both paintings with commuting. West Chester is an outstanding section. you are able to also flow with Germantown, Chestnut Hill, Manayunk, money County and Swarthmore in Pennsylvania. In New Jersey, you would possibly want to stay in Woolwich/Swedesboro, Mullica Hill, Salem, or Logan. yet in case you flow to New Jersey you ought to pay bridge tolls popular. Delaware might want to also paintings... verify out Wilmington suburbs.

*Across the river in NJ. It is very close and you could be in Philadelphis in less than 30 minutes. Many people who work in Philly live in NJ because it is safer and nicer.*
