w Windows 2000 is only a glorified version of Windows 98se...
Todays "Norm" is XPsp2...
In early '07 it will be replaced by Vista...
Anything that is XPsp1 and below is being sent out to pasture...microsoft no longer offers support for many of these systems.

And other websites....forget it.

I have learned more about my Windows 98se than I did in college...My $100.00 investment to to upgrade to Windows ME bought me time...But, I didn't head the warning about XP...

Windows XP can be purchased for about $60 (it retails for $199). Just put the CD in your CD drive and it will walk you through installing it.

Just upgrade it with a Windows XP disc. Whatever you can find it for on the web. LOOK!
