Chemical engineering or Computer Science? Which feild has more jobs currently?

That is an excellent question. You have to consider the location you desire to be in, for example chemical engineering you will find work/job security in places that have chemical refineries, chemical plants, oil and gas etc. So this degree is in high demand where i am in the south. IT is in demand as well but as the market becomes flooded, the pay (not the job security) will go down. So, to that end; geography and economy will help you choose wisely.

most definately chemical engineering.

computer science is like a business degree. every other idiot has one.

chemical engineering is a tough major, but that's why it is valued.

chemical engineering...there are a lot of computer science majors and chemcial engineers make loads of money easily.
