the guy i'm dating is nice and all but he just doesn't have what i'm looking for in a guy. he has liked me sinc the 2nd grade and i don't want to break his heart by dumping him. how should i dump him without my friends doing it for me and what should i say?

Write him a letter so that you are able to say everything that you have been feeling without being hurtful, but don't just leave it at that, this is something that should be done in person..so at the end of the letter..tell him that you would never want to hurt him, and would like to continue being his friend..if he can accept that, and to meet you somewhere (the next day, so that he has his own time to vent)..and you can talk some more then. Meeting with him after he's read the letter will let him know that yo do care about his feelings and want to be there for him as a friend. Hopefully he will be able to except that..and you can know that atleast it wasn't a bad or akward break-up.

Instead of dumping him, why don't you say to him that the 2 of you are seeing eachother far too often, and that you are worried that the relationship will burn out. He will then understand that the 2 of you will need time out, and think about where the relationship is going.

It's depends how he feels abouy you if he really love you or want you you will hurt him no matter what you try to tell him in that moment so just face him tell him don't worry he will get over it but before make sure he's not your type because some people tend to regret afterwards

you can't break up with someone without breaking their heart. you can put it in the nicest way possible but it will still hurt him. be straight up with him and tell him how you feel. you can't go out with somebody you don't like so tell him grl and don't hesitate.

ONE DAY HAVE SO MUCH FUN WITH HIM LIKE AMUSMENT PARK OR SOMETHING THEN REALIZE WAT KIND OF GUY HE REALLY IS DEEP DOWN THEN IF YOU STILL DON'T FEEL ANYTHING FOR HIM THAN SAY IT VERY VERY VERY SLOWLY AND TELL HIM YOU LIKE HIM AS A FRIEND BUT NOT WAY BEYOND THAT THAN YOU BREAK UP WITH HIM IT SOUNDS VERY SIMPLE BUT IT ISN'T BECAUSE LATER YOU TOO WILL FEEL BAD FOR THE HEART THAT YOU HAVE BROKEN TOO BADLY
