first take from where you are and the exact place you are going and find out how many miles it is. then you will need to look at the different states speed limits. but when we drive we usually say at least 60 miles and hour then say you have 8 hundred miles you get what I'm saying . say some where around 13 and a half hours but don't forget to factor in the stopping time for fuel and other thing that are needed. That how I was taught when I started driving any way.

You have about 2000 miles just to get to the pan handle of Florida. Which would take about 3 days if you drive 12 hours a day which isn't safe. So you should only drive 8 hours a day.
Now depending on where you are going in Florida you could have another 8 hours. If you are going to the keys add on another 4 hours.

It will take days I know that... NEW YORK is a 22hr ride .. also depends on what part of fla you want to go , I am in Fla now
