I knew that my brother had broken a window of the house being constructed next-door. I urged him to tell my parents, and the owner of the house. I then hinted to my parents that I knew who had broken the window, but I wouldn't divulge their true identity.
Because I set an example for my little brother through honesty, he found courage to confront the owner of the house and to pay off his debt. Otherwise, it would have remained broken, the owner would have become distrusting of all of his neighbors, and would probably have become the neighborhood crab.
Remember...honesty comes in all forms!

I had this friend who really did something wrong to me, but I don't think she knew it. I knew telling her would be hard and painful, and it might hurt our friendship, but I had to be honest, so I did it anyway.
