My 13 year old vehicle always runs better after it's washed and waxed. ( i always keep a full tank). I dont know if it is psychological or not. Now, when I wax my 33 year Nova, i really feel like a king of the road, and that thing just puuurs like a kitten, runs so good.

The clean cars give you that feeling of a new vehicle, as far as running better with a full tank............The fuel pump doesnt work as hard to pump the fuel into your engine and it makes the car easier to start.
