You're dealing in black and white, here.
Let's remember some things.
1) Religion has no place in legislation.
2) Religion has no place in legislation.
3) Religion has no place in legislation.

So, take out the "conservative Christian" part, and ignore the fact that some Republicans are Christians. So, is torture a sin? Well, that should depend on what sort of torture, and what it's being used for.
If it's being used to terrorize someone until they're killed, then yes, it's wrong.
However, if harsh interrogation methods (which many like you seem to feel is torture) are employed, and hundreds, even THOUSANDS of lives are saved, then no, it's not wrong.
Killing is wrong. Punishing someone for breaking the law is not wrong. Defending yourself, your family, or your country is not wrong.
Even by the Bible's definitions. Stick to what you know. I don't know what that is, but it certainly isn't politics OR religion.

properly, it wasnt a super loss in 2006. the domicile become, however the Dems somewhat, basically a splash have the Senate. I genuinely dont think of the excellent is irrelevant, fairly now. specific, the Reps, and Dems for that remember, have not performed properly in Iraq. There isnt lots arguing to that. If we lose 08, it must be a super loss, based on the Senate and domicile numbers. i think of we will get the Senate lower back a minimum of, and superb now win the Presidency. you're superb approximately Gulliani and McCain, they are extremely liberal. Im no longer a huge fan of McCain, yet there are worse. notwithstanding, minorities are shifting ever so somewhat to the left, and we observed that throughout 04. that would of been because of Kerry, or it ought to genuinely be that minorities are turning out to be greater conservative, i dont understand. superb now for the Presidency, Im searching for somebody it quite is against unlawful immigration, against start administration abortion, and might probable help the situation interior the midsection East. superb now, that sounds like Romney. notwithstanding he too, was liberal, he has appeared to alter his ideas. He seems to be like a guy of reform, and reform is what we want superb now for united statesa.. Obama, Hillary, Gulliani and McCain look extremely corrupt, and notwithstanding they have the call and the spotlight, have they have been given what united statesa. needs? we can see.

there is nowhere in the bible that says any thing about torture, except wher god punished his own for transgressions, do you want to call that torture, then do so , personally I feel you are looking for some way to ridicule the Republican party and Christianity, one hell of a lot of men died to give assholes like you that privilege, and most of these men were of the christian faith, why don't you get a life ,and quit showing how ignorant you are, the Dem"s and Rep"s are the same they both belong tithe same master, any one who will vote for a party instead of the man doesn't have enough sense to vote there fore should not be permitted to do so, why can't you people stop quarreling about the Dem:s and Rep"s and have intelligent dialog and look for a better system such as a more diverse pool of candidates to vote for, this is such a waste,

I am a Christian and a Rep. I don't believe in torture, and I am sure Dem Christians don't either. I am neither ignorant or evil, but your question is evil and mean spirited. And shows you are not educated on the subject, and are generalizing.

Torture is wrong, yes. But some people use the word torture a tad too loosely.

Letting a dog bark at a terrorist or making fun of his genitalia is not what I call torture.

Holding a reporter or other innocent civilian hostage then hacking off his head... that's torture.

Wow, you're a crabby little one, aren't you? Torture most likely is a sin. However, do you think Mr. Terrorist will just tell us who dies next? If you believe that, I think you're the ignorant one.

Yes TORTURE is a SIN

But NeoCons are into Red Jesus and Redster J says Hate thy Neighbor.

So this is America we still have freedom of Religion and the Church of the NeoCon Prophet says you can rip the eyeballs out of a suspected non party supporter/terrorist.

Go big Red Go

What is torture to you? Farting in a car full of people is considered torture, but will the person passing the gas be committing a sin? Having my in-laws come over is torture to me, are they committing a sin? Please define torture.
