My husband became hearing impaired 2 years ago.We just don't know where to look .Please help he's only 43 years old.

Depending on where you live in Canada. In Ontario you have to apply for disability through ODSP for support payments. Ontario Disability Support Program. This comes from the Ontario Government which administers social programs. You should try dialling 211 in your area and ask for help with provincial disability support programs. You can search on the Internet for your provincial governnment and find out about the resources available. Also the Canadian Hearing Society in your area. Hope that this helps. Are you a Canadian?
You don't get a grant, but you might be able to get a pension. Try the Department of Human Resources, or your Provincial government.

Contact your province's ministry or department of social services or community services. I doubt if what you called the "Canadian government" (the federal government, you seem to mean) gives out such payments.

you need a letter from your doctor - go onto human resources and development canada and ask for an application - request that one be mailed to you - it may take up to 12 weeks to get the grant
